Suggestions

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

Alright spark friends, I am taking suggestions.
As mentioned in my blog from the beginning of January I am doing monthly challenges instead of a new years resolution. So I'm about to knock out January, but now I find myself stuck as for ideas. I can do fitness suggestions, food/calorie related suggestions or spark site related suggestions. Just lend me your ideas. I promise I will credit where credit is due, so please suggest away.

How about something to get you out and about every day, like 15 or 30 fitness minutes a day for the whole month? I get tempted on a day off to just do nothing, but just getting out and walking or playing with the kids or pets, shoveling, anything is better than sitting around and watching TV or surfing the Internet.

My second idea is a Lose 8 lbs. this month challenge. That's 2 lbs. a week.

See you at the finish line!

Great job on your January goal! If you're looking for Spark-related stuff, you can try a tracking goal or combining tracking with the nifty SparkSummary calendar. I love seeing entries every day on that one.

How about a Try Something New Every Day? Whether its a food, drink, exercise move, new walk route, whatever....

What about a 30 day blog challenge. Come up with 28 things or find a premade blog challenge to make you blog daily. I came across one and I am on day 11. It doesn't help with exercise but while doing it I have been addressing some of the issues that have been keeping me overweight! It is a self-searching journey for me and I suggest it to everyone! :)
