So I've been back at eating healthy and exercising for almost 3 weeks and I've only lost 2lbs. I'm disappointed, but I'm trying to remind myself that losing weight isn't what it's all about. So in three weeks I haven't lost a lot of weight, but...
- I get more restful sleep at night
- My pants are fitting looser than before (no longer have to suck in before I button
- I feel happier
- I'm less moody
- I feed my family a healthy dinner each night
- I feel like I have purpose in my life
- I feel stronger
- I'm proud of myself
So I'm sure in the weeks to come I will begin to lose weight again, but right now I'm going to remember all the other benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
