I Need To Focus . . .

I know I can do this - I've done it before. I need to focus. I need to take a deep breath, pray, and just FOCUS.

I gained five pounds over the holidays and it is painful trying to get those pounds off. But I know I can do it.

Once those first five are gone (again) it will be smooth sailing from there.

I changed my goals. I was trying to reach 270 by January 1. I reached 275 sometime in November. My new goal is 260 by April 10. I know I can do it.

I go back and forth - Spark People, no Spark People . . . and I have learned, as painful as it is to admit, I just can NOT do this by myself. I actually need Spark People and all the help it gives.

I have the tools. I have the knowledge. Now it's time to apply them.
Pray for me.

    It is so good to know that there are so many others out there who feel the same way I do! That is the great thing about Sparkpeople. I am hopefully on an upswing after a slight off-course run! I do the same thing, back & forth and it's frustrating. I know what I'm supposed to do, it's just a matter of actually doing it. When I eat a bag of m&m's, I know I shouldn't be doing it, but I go ahead and do it anyway. I really need to retrain my brain and keep telling myself, do you know what that's going to do to you? Are you going to reach your goals that way? Exercise is not a problem for me. I can go to the gym 3 times a week and work out for an hour, plus strength training. It's what I put in my mouth that's the problem. I'll put you on my friend's list and we can work this out together! Good luck! We can do it!
