I love to travel

But not when it comes to traveling for work. And guess what?? I don't have to anymore because I got a new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so freakin happy!!
Last Friday I had that interview. Well I met with Interview #1 (Jeff). At the end of my interview he said he normally wouldn't do this but knew I was going out of town for two weeks so was wondering if I would drive over to their other branch and interview with the SVP & HR..so I did. At the end of all that the HR lady told me she talked to Jeff while I was filling out an app and they all were interested in me and I shouldn't be surprised if I had a job offer that afternoon!
Fastest turnaround EVER! Within 15 minutes of getting home (did I mention it's about a 5-10 min drive from my house??) the recruiter was calling me and already knew the terms of the offer!!! Fortunately it was something I could accept! It's definitely a step back in pay and benefits and things like that but the perk of being home every night totally outweighs all of that!
So then Friday afternoon I had to call my boss and give him my 2 weeks notice. That was HORRIBLE!!! I was so nervous I was shaking and I just felt like I was disappointing him. Yesterday I sent out an email to all my coworkers to let them know and I teared up about 3 times throughout the morning as I got responses. It's going to be easy to actually leave the work that I do but leaving the people is really freakin hard.
Anyways..I have a new job! Happy dance! I have a job where I can start having a social life during the week, go to my gym on a regular basis, cook my food for meals, sleep in my own bed at night...aaaahhh the normalcy!
I spent quite a bit of time today working on my workout schedule for the next few months. I have alot of races planned and a half marathon so I need a schedule for that. For the most part it looks like this:
Monday: Bodyflow
Tuesday: run, bodypump, yoga
Wednesday: core conditioning
Thursday: Chris (my personal trainer), bodyflow
Friday: 20 min sprints
Saturday: Chris
Sunday: long runs
On Tuesdays & Thursdays I can cut out the yoga or flow if I don't want to go and Wednesday is my rest day but I saw my gym has a core class which is something I need to work on so I've added that in..it's not using my legs so it should be ok.
Tomorrow I plan to not work again and plan out some meals and such.
New Year New Me!
