"You must motivate yourself EVERYDAY.
- Matthew Stasior"
I've just been having a bad week. Maybe it's the weather. The stress at work has been killing me. Or every time I would start exercising, my ankles and knees would hurt really bad. I've been borderline about to get sick. There is a flu epidemic at work. Yeah, it's all excuses.
This is a new week because this will be my year to shine. I'm going to start tracking again. I have the Weight Watcher materials and will start using the calculator and books to do my tracking. I'm going to recommit myself to working out. Since obviously walking is hurting, I'm going to just use my barefoot workouts. I'm going to give myself full cool downs and stretches. I know I was skimping on them a bit. I also just bought YogaWorks for beginners which has AM and PM workouts. I'm hoping to add some of the yoga after my main workouts to help stretch everything out.
The plan for my workouts this week is to alternate cardio and strength with Sunday as rest. I hate that but with two jobs, I feel like sleep is more important. Now if I can exercise before work on Saturday night a bit, then that will be great. If I'm not working both jobs like this weekend for instance, I'll do extra pilates or yoga or extra cardio.
I'm planning on doing two barre workouts a week(choices: Bar Method, Fluidity, Core Fusion), two dancing workouts that I can do barefoot(choices: YBB, bellydance with Neena and Veena, and Deante Dance, one normal strength training (choices: I got BL power sculpt, Jackie Warner x3 workouts, Turbo Sculpt, Kathy Smith Kettlebell), and one normal cardio (choices: WATP, Walking with Kathy Smith, BL Power Walk, Zumba, and anything I feel like). If I don't feel like any of that, I will play Just Dance for fun. No pressure. Those are the options to keep it fun and interesting while helping keep my knee and ankle pain down to a minimum. ^_^ I don't want to get bored too soon.
Although I am planning to clean out the back bedroom so I can set up my fluidity bar up permanently instead of dragging it out every day. I love using my barre. I won't be able to do zumba before work in that room but I could do barre workouts before work.
Although if it wasn't for binging, I would have lost or stayed the same because my husband and I destroyed 4 lbs of broccoli and 5 lbs of chicken over the week. It was delish! I ordered a few more barre DVDs that I should be getting this week (Barre 3 and Xtend).
I also have some DVD gifts for me when I finish a few weeks. I think my tattoo will be for my 10% goal (might be a power symbol or fluer dis lys-sp)
This WILL be a better week.
