A great obstacle to happiness is expecting too much happiness. - Bernard de Fontanelle, French writ

This quote to me is about the bumps in the road & how you just have to deal with them.
I'll give you an example. My school started classes today and I have just one semester left until I am an LPN. I know for a fact that my pinning ceremony is going to be one of the happiest days of my life, but in the mean time I have a grueling semester full of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, lifespan, med-surg, and psychology to look forward to. I could be like most of my classmates and be dreading tomorrow, but I'm looking into the future to that pinning ceremony and graduation.
I just realized that it's the same with losing weight. You may have to exercise every day and ignore your favorite foods (which soon won't be your favorites anymore) but if you just look forward to that beautiful day when you lose all of the weight you want to, and every single little bump in the road will be worth the jostle.
