okay--so i like the trackers on here. they really are helping me. sometimes i eat what i know is not really within my plan, but if i track it a couple things happen. first i see EXACTLY the nutritional content--so next time i have to decide do i want that or not--i will have some good information to help me. it also helps me to KEEP my day aligned if i have a meal left to go. yesterday my calories were so very low i decided to eat at the top of my range today--just to throw my body off the starvation track. we had a big breakfast and lunch at chilis. once again--the black bean burger with mustard and lettuce/tomato/pickle and a salad with lo fat ranch--but even that packs a big caloric wallop. as always--i left the final quarter of the sandwich on the plate--so that helps. but thanks to the tracker--i KNOW exactly how many calories are left to me today, so i can plan my dinner accordingly. i will just squeak in under the wire, but that was my plan for today all along. i can also look at my protein and carbs and fat that are left and make sure the balance of all those is correct too. sounds like it will be a soup night--lots of filling for not a lot of calories.
i am tracking my fitness goals too--it took me a little while to master this--i don't do strength training other than the 28 day bootcamp, so i had to tweak the tracker a little. i need to add kettle bells to my "other goals" as well. and i really like the other goals section because it REMINDS ME of the other things i want to do every day--like write out my affirmations. i get so sidetracked and scatter brained its very helpful to have this nice little check box waiting for me to click in it when the task is completed. and i have such a sense of accomplishment when i click on the little check. i have always been a list maker, and checking off lists is very familiar and comfortable to me. so its time to go write my affirmations now and then probably do a little snoozing in front of the bears/packers game!
