Synopsis of my 2010 Journey

Lost 60#s in 2010 - Average 5#'s a month, also lost a total of 25 inches - I'm thankful that I lost that much, but a little dissapointed I didn't lose more.

It's the first time in my life that I am dedicated to exercising. I attend water aerobics classes 15 hours a week and walk in the lazy river for 5 hours. I've had a lot of support from people at the pool. Someone is always commenting on how hard I am trying. Many have commented on my weight loss too.

Medically, the only improvement is my blood pressure, last reading was 117/76. My cholesterol was borderline and still is. My good cholesterol is in the normal range at 40. My, Ldl bad cholesterol is at 155, it should be between 60-99. I have a fatty liver so my enzymes are also measured, slightly improved from previous reading. AST in the normal range at 28 and ALT was 67 should be 10-35.

A new friend of mine suggested I try blogging daily, I told her I would try at least a couple times a week. I never feel like I have anything interesting enough to blog about. I appreciate all the motivation and support I get from my sister Suzi and other Sparkers, it's been a great help.

    emoticon For the blog post. emoticon on your weight loss so far! 60 lbs in a year and maintaining it is NO small feat. You worked hard (obviously) and it's paying off so don't doubt yourself about not working as hard as you think you could have. Dwelling on negatives can eat you alive so don't worry about it and bring on the heat this year. Good luck! emoticon

    60 pounds in one year is admirable to say the least! Wonderful, actually! You are certainly going in the right direction. Try not to be disappointed ... because you are DOING it and no matter how long it takes, you are moving forward!

    60 pounds is amazing and no small accomplishment. I know how you feel when you say it should be more, but you've come so far already - don't let the "slowness" get you down. emoticon

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK OR I'LL GET ONE OF THEM weight SUITS FROM THE BIGGEST LOSER AND SEND IT TO YOU- ADD 72 POUNDS AND YOU WILL SEE HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME. I LOVE HOW AT THE END OF EVERY SEASON THEY MAKE THEM WEAR A SUIT AND DROP OFF POUNDS TO REACH GOALS. I'm trying to think of what 72 pounds looks like! 2-25 lb bags of dog food+ 1 -10 bowling ball+ 2 -5 lb bags of sugar+ 8 sticks of butter! Wow emoticon Eric said thats alot! Love you emoticon
