No budge

Well, I really thought I was going to lose more weight this week but the scale didn't budge. I did lose some inches so that makes me happy! I have been doing a lot of lunges and squats this week so it would be no surprise if I built some muscle this week. But boy, I was hoping for at least a pound loss. Oh well, I am still at it. I may decrease my amount of exercise this week but I may have been burning too many calories last week so my body might be screaming to keep some weight on because it could think I am starving myself? Not sure. I have been doing an excellent job with food control so I probably could afford to lower my workout frequency. My friend bought a sausage, pepperoni and pineapple stuffed crust pizza last night and I didn't have one piece! :-D emoticon

    Thank you everyone for your feedback! Yeah, Fangle, I'm definitely not decreasing calories, but I think I may have been over doing my workouts so I am lowering my intensity on that. Sailscall, I am in losing mode now, but I am also going to add more strength training to my routine as I have beed focusing more on cardio lately. Orange81, keep up the good work with your food control! I have found its really 80% diet, 20% exercise! I'm the same way with avoiding the stuff I COULD lose control on...its just easier that way! Thanks for the encouragement! emoticon

    Just keep at it. I would advise against decreasing calories to be honest. If you are exercising a lot, reducing calories is not the answer.

    You know what, I've cut back from 5-6 days or cardio to 3 days. I'm gong to add more core and strength and less pounding on the treadmill. I've been beating my body up and it told me it needed a break. I'm not quite sure where you are in the process (I'm in maintenance mode now) but readjusting what you do will pop you through to your next goal. Good luck!

    You are doing great. The weeks i feel like my clothes are baggier and I know that food,water,sleep and exercise was done just right I jump up for the weekly weigh in and no results! Like you I keep going and then I see it on the scale. I think skipping that pizza was something as I am sitting here waiting for my egg and toast,I share my eggs w/ the dog on Sundays, but pizza sounds good. Some things never change for me I think a lot of foods I don't eat because I might over do it and I try to remember all my good tools to not be an over eater that I learned in O.A. Keep up the good work loosing inches it great!!! emoticon
