Cheat day

I resolved to let myself over my calories today because it was Munch and Mingle, aka Fat Friday. Teachers (or in this case, the paraprofessionals) bring yummy delicious food to the lounge and we all stuff our faces. I think if I give myself 1 cheat day a month it will be good for my metabolism. Lots of resources say you should have a cheat day once a week, but I can't let go of that much control quite yet. Maybe someday. But once a month is good for now. And I took full advantage of it.

So that was fun. And then for dinner we did Ming's (best Chinese food EVER). I always have the same thing when I go, so it was easy to track.

I tracked everything that went into my mouth today. I ended up about 1,000 over my max. It was worth it. Sunday is weigh in, so we'll see how that goes. Lots of extra water today and tomorrow, that's for sure!

    We have a Mings here too, its a buffet and very hard to leave without feeling horrible about yourself lol The 1 day off a week really helps to get your weight back in order.

    A day that has higher calories than you normally eat can spike your metabolism and benefit you! I do it occasionally and it usually works!
