Bootcamp

Thursday, January 20, 2011

I am halfway through the bootcamp and feeling really great about this accomplishment.
For me, it is huge because in the past I have let everyone else's needs come before my own, never taking a minute for ME.....
I truly have come to LOVE my exercise minutes. Everyday I find a different sparkpeople video to do along with my bootcamp video, I am so loving the 10 minute cardio kickboxing. When I have finished i feel like a champion, flexing my muscles in the mirror at myself....That's our little secret

I still haven't weighed myself. We don't own any, nor do the people around us...But should I find out a random neighbor has a scale, i will feel the need to go ask if i can use them... at least until i get my own.

I started back to school and this week have made my exercise routine part of my getting ready for class routine......

Thank you to everyone for your encouragement, support and help
I love you all bunches

Today, starts the first day of the last week of my 28 day bootcamp. YAY. I am so proud of myself.

The day 1 cardio routine, i saved to favorites and I will probably do that one every morning and in the evenings that the weather doesn't permit my little crowed and i to go for our walk/jog.

I am feeling physically better with each passing day. Exercise truly does make you feel better. Most days, my 2 yr old comes in the room and tries to exercise also it's great. I think i have started something, by finally listening to my sister, Asta, and looking into sparkpeople. Hugs to you sister....

Later, off to go walking before school tonight

I have had days when I think " It want hurt to miss one day" but then I quickly change my mind.... I refuse to allow my own brain to sabotage all the hard work I have put into this in the past 3 weeks......I have been checking out different videos so far I like them all... The 10 minute cardio or the 10 minute kickboxing cardio are great...

emoticon For me, it is a great tool and anyone can do it...
It's not just limited to certain people, groups, or ages..

Haha .... I did that too, it wasn't a big bale either but my cousin was standing right in the path, he got knocked down.
We all laughed til we cried....

The first time I did it, I thought these people are crazy. It turned out to be great exercise with lots of fun and laughs....

I actually grew to love it...

Maybe i need to find a farm to work on while I'm in school!!!!

WE did our own hay for years...from when Adam drove the tractor for us as a two yr old till all the kids were gone and it was Bruce and me trying to do it alone...HA! I finally convinced him to hire it out and now we get round bales. What a relief. It could be fun at times..but boy, what a lot of hard work. First time..I couldn't even lift the bale off the ground..never mind pitch it up on the trailer! I realized how much my muscles and fitness had improved some yrs later when I threw a bale (granted, not a very heavy one) clear over the loaded trailer! emoticon

that's quite alright....Like myself, you have a very busy schedule.... I liked your exercise, hauling firewood.... that is serious exercise.

When I was younger, on the weekends i'd go spend the weekend with cousins in clarksville. One of our chores to earn money to go out on Saturday night but to pick up bales of hay on throw them up onto a moving trailor.... It was fun believe it or not, but it was hard work........I loved it because myself and my cousins were so comical that we could make fun out of anything and it didn't cost us a dime.....
