Medicine is working...

Wednesday, January 19, 2011

I'm definitely feeling better and smoking a whole lot less! Today I was busy most of the day and I was driving by my usual cigarette store. I was so proud of myself when I drove right past it----only to whip into the very next am/pm and run in and buy a pack of cigarettes! I ran out and tore the pack open like it was the last one on earth, I asked for a book of matches and lit up! After two puffs I was disgusted with myself and put it out, got back in my car and have been beating myself up over buying that pack ever since. so I have probably smoked a whole cigarette if you add up all the puffs I took throughout the day:(
But hey! it's still a whole lot better than 30 cigarettes in a day! So I am NOT going to beat myself up about it, I am going to get a good nights sleep and see if I can do better tomorrow!
I could use all the prayers I can get right now in order to beat this smoking thing. Any and all will be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance my spark friends!

GOOD MORNING........Sounds like you are doing exactly what all the smokers do. Stop and start and start again before they hit the final smoke. ( I know, I did) It's ok, thats the way it happens AND when you are TOTALLY fed up, you will quit. I am glad that you are feeling better and that the medicine is working. YOU CAN DO IT. Take your time, don't beat yourself up, but NEVER EVER QUIT.
    When you want that smoke...

Keep up the good work........YOU ARE SO WORTH IT.
