Glad I worked out today

Today was just horrible at work. I was off yesterday and it never fails that when I take a day off there's so much work to be done when I return. Every time I come back I think "why did I take time off"? I was so stressed out that I told myself I had to come home and work out. I was originally planning to take today off from working out but I knew that was going to be the best way to relieve my stress. So I came home and did my Leslie Sansone workout and I feel great. Some of the knee crunches had me thinking of the folks who made my day challenging and that made me crunch even more! Another thing to reward myself on is the fact that usually when I get stressed at work I reach for bad food. Today I grabbed a yogurt instead of heading to the vending machine. What progress!Good thing I had a yogurt there to choose. I made good food choices all day and worked out. I even made yams tonight which is something I normally wouldn't cook so that's progress too. I hope I'm starting to get the hang of this!
I've done my computer work early so now I have to go research some workouts. I'm enjoying the 2 mile Sansone but I think I need to have some other 30 minutes workouts lined up. My goal is to get up in the morning and get my workout in. This will continue to be a busy week at work and if I can manage to not oversleep and get up early and workout I think that will help my stress level.
