Snow day # ?? -- I haven't been keeping track, but it's a BIG number.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

Like the title says there have been a lot of snow days around here this fall and winter.

This morning when I was on my way downstairs, I looked out an upstairs window and couldn't see my car. It was light out, but really flat light from an overcast day. I was thinking that somebody stole it, but when I moved closer to the window, I could barely make out its form under the pile of snow. It snowed at least another couple inches and with no wind, there wasn't much of the car visible.

I was supposed to have a dentist appointment this morning in a nearby town, but I decided that I didn't want to drive 60 some miles on snow covering the ice we'd had the night before from the freezing rain... So I've been Sparking off and on most the day.

Now that it's dark again, I need to venture out to the post office to pick up mail and to the grocery store to get a few groceries to make it through the rest of the week...

I hope everyone is having a good week and meeting all your goals.
