Today has been a struggle....

but I only smoked a few puffs off a cigarette, three different times. I know it's not "not smoking" but it is so much better than the ususal 30 plus cigarettes I ususally smoke in a day. My friend brought over some cinnamon sticks and some kind of little seed thing to chew on. I really like the seed things! The cinnamon sticks-not so much!
I walked up to the store and got some good old jolly ranchers, those seem to help and it felt good to get out of the house for a few minutes, plus that is the only exercise I got for today. We live in the very back corner of the apartments, so just walking to the street is a little ways, and then it is another block to the store.
Tomorrow will be better and Wednesday I will be going back to work. I really need to get back to work it has been 5 days now!

    When you feel that urge, do a little deep breathing and try to keep moving. It is not easy, especially since you have been so ill. Cut back on the coffee and DRINK LOTS OF WATER or GREEN TEA.
