Catching up, fessing up and accountability

Monday, January 17, 2011

Feeling a little better each day. Thanks for all of the well wishes. Still not at 100% and still on meds but feeling human again. Unfortunately the rest of the house has it now too emoticon.
So now it's time for me to catch up, fess up and be accountable. I'll start with catching up, since that will be easiest and the most fun. emoticon. The fessing up and accountability portion will make more sense over the next couple blogs if ya'll bear with me.
I'll be checking out everyone's pages see what's been going on over the past several months. For me, they've been a roller coaster. Scott and I seperated for several months, saw each other for a couple months and have been back together since April. It was a hard, stressful period, but I think we are better off for it. Cara moved out, got married in august and has made me a grandma at age 37! emoticon. I guess that is what happens when you start so young. She is 20 and due in july. Once the shock wore off, I've become more and more excited. Caitlyn is a senior and almost through the year. She wants to move to ct when she grduates to go to school and be with her boyfriend. Can you say empty nest? Lol. Guess that's about it for a condensed version for the catching up. Now I'm off to view some pages. emoticon to you all and thanks for still being there for me!

This is alot for you to deal with! I understand why you were away so long! Just know that congratulations and much love and understanding come your way! This is a great time for you to heal (even back together means you need some self love, trust and mega compassion), grow and become even better than before! I have always been a HUGE admirer of yours! I look forward to sharing your journey and mine together once again! Love you like a sister, as always!

Angie~ Sounds like quite the year for you, lots of changes! I am happy for you that you and Scott got back together. It takes a very strong couple to be able to work through problems and save all of the years of being together and the relationship, I admire you for doing that.

Yes, you are very young to be a Grandma, and here I am waiting, waiting waiting, to be a Grandma, old age is setting in fast for me! Actually my oldest son is very serious about a young lady and she does want several kids. Yeah!!

It is hard to get adjusted to an empty nest, but, after the adjustment it is great and you have more time just for YOU!

    Glad you are back!
