Duh- the Metric system

Monday, January 17, 2011

so I am on Day 17 of my new year, new ME challenge. I have been extremely consistent with my workouts and food, even my rest. Instead of doing any emotional eating and/or laying around stressed and depressed about my daughter. I have been hitting the gym and picking up my bible instead. Yes that is the good part. Here is the bad (okay maybe not bad but idiotic part).

I had started running again. I was SUPER duper excited because I thought I had been running between 3 and 5 miles. Turns out it was KILOMETERS. That is right Ks. Now that I am in British Columbia, they go by kilometers and not miles. Feeling like such a dope. I'm still happy that I have been consistent with my workouts and eating. emoticon
