WOW...what a difference a week makes!!! Last week I found a NEW DETERMINATION! I was in a positive mindset again, determined, and ready to kick it! It's interesting how the mind works because this was a huge turnaround for me. I had been going through the motions and getting nowhere. I didn't even realize that I was in a negative mindset until I was able to start turning it around.
What happened? After almost a year with Spark, I decided to set up my Spark Page. Honestly I didn't see the point in it before. It wasn't my personality, and I didn't think I'd benefit from it. Boy was I wrong!
My Spark Page led me to the area of blogs...again, something I didn't think I'd ever utilize. I just didn't expect what I was able to get out of it. I found though that when I blogged about my goals that I was able to make myself more accountable for them. And, when I blogged about my thoughts, I found that I looked into them more deeply and learned things from them.
The biggest advantage was...discovering SPARK FRIENDS!!! Reading the blogs of the experiences that my SPARK FRIENDS were going through made me realize that I'm not alone. That others have the same ups and downs that I have, and that we really can all work together to encourage each other through this journey!
I didn't realize the impact that SPARK FRIENDS could have on my experience!
THANK YOU SPARK FRIENDS!!! You've given me the encouragement that I needed to get my drive and determination back! Without trying or realizing, you've given me what I needed to get back to a positive attitude!
What happened last week as a result from this New DETERMINATION? I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and was able to start enjoying it again! I have the will power again to go for what I want and not let anything tempt me or get in my way! I have the positive attitude again to really work for it! You know what...I lost over 5 pounds last week because of all these things!!!
Now...I'm making it a point to read blogs a little bit everyday. (However, I know I need to limit myself because otherwise I wouldn't get anything done!) Reading blogs gives me encouragement and an opportunity to maybe give someone else encouragement. Also...I'm going to try to write my own blog at least once a week because my experiences just might help someone else in the way that blogs of others have helped me.
THANK YOU SPARK FRIENDS...each of you has given me strength without even knowing it!!!
