Boxing here I come..

I've been searching all over the place for a boxing class. Why you might ask? I'm not really sure but I think this will be something i'd actually enjoy. This is a fun way to release frustration and get a good workout in at the same time.

A friend of mine has been on the look out to try and help me find what i've been looking for and Pow!!!! I think we found it. It's called 9 round.. It's a combination of kickboxing and boxing.. Woo-Hoo..

Ya'll know me gotta keep it interesting or I won't do it emoticon

Here's the link she sent me. I've called and will actually take my first class this week. I'll let you know how it goes.


Meanwhile.. I've added Wednesday Zumba class in addition to my Monday and Thursday class so my schedule looks a little like this for the week:

Strength training (upper body)
Running 2 miles

Tuesday- Boxing
Strength training (lower body)

Wednesday- Running 2 miles

Thursday- Zumba
Strength training (upper body)

Friday- Strength Training (lower body) no cardio
(kind of a rest day)

Saturday/Sunday - Long runs & abs

Hmm..it'll be interesting to see how this goes.

    I stumbled across a kickboxing class last August and have absolutely loved it! It works everything you've got from head to toe and relieves all kinds of stress.

    Love it! I got a punching bag last year, and it is so LIBERATING and a great workout! I get all of my frustration for the day out with some good punching! Enjoy! Your schedule looks excellent. Keep up the great work!
