Go girl! I think it's great that you started your own blog. That situation with the gal who copied your stuff is pretty weird - I don't blame you for being upset by it. I hope everything works out for you.

    Have a great Tuesday!

I wasn't sure whether to use wordpress or blogger because wordpress has a much larger audience. However, I read that wordpress had a lot of problems with hacking this past year so I decided to go with blogger.

Ashley, how'd you pick which site to use? I was thinking of doing the same thing over on Word Press.

I second the video idea and I totally got the reference being that I am the same age as you and all.

You were going to escape knowing what I think? Pshaw. As if. And monkeys might fly out of my butt.

*no emoticon found for unfunny Wayne's World reference that pegs me squarely in my age bracket and demographic*

Hey Ashley, I went to the link you posted and read your blog. I say, "Amen!" Only I am now 63. Where is the knight in shining armor with whom I live happily ever after? I had so much potential, but where did it go? I feel I have wasted my life and not accomplished very much. It certainly isn't what I imagined. Maybe I read too many fairy tales. My high school counselor didn't tell me about student loans or scholarships and I thought because my family owned a business, that they made too much money for me to qualify anyway. Wish folks had said, apply anyway, what have you got to lose? There is a 50/50 chance that you will get one. Instead, she freaked out that I my boyfriends class ring had slipped around and looked like a wedding band. Now days they don't even bat an eye when middle school students get pregnant. At least you have identified the problem and are trying to do something about it. I was 60 before I woke up.
