What a beautiful day!

Here is how I started my day:



A race on the beach on a beautiful day! It wasn't a long race, but I was pretty pleased with my efforts. I did my 5K in 44.54 minutes! As a walker! I even passed up some runners. But 5K wasn't enough for my training miles for the day either. So since it was so pretty out at the beach I decided to walk the length of the cart path that runs about 2.5 miles on the side of the road. I felt awesome today completing that too! Not tired at all. I am scheduled to do 8 miles tomorrow now. It is supposed to rain all day though. So not sure how I will do it. I'm not into being totally miserable during this process. But we'll just see how it goes. Maybe it won't be raining early.

I am also taking private Pilates lessons. Not sure if I have mentioned this or not. But it is awesome!! My trainer is very knowledgeable and wants to find the best exercises for me to deal with my inactive muscles. I am lopsided and crooked. But by working the right muscles I can correct it. She also had her mentor at my session on Friday so he could help come up with a training plan for me. I am loving it!! It is very challenging and difficult though. It doesn't look like it would be but it wore me out!

Well everything else is pretty good right now! Feeling awesome, eating right and drinking my water! Coming up on my year anniversary to my healthy life! Very very excited about that. It's been a great year! You all have a blessed weekend!!!

    I have never tried Pilates, but I hear it is much harder than it looks. Good for you!!

    Great day and a perfect one for outside fresh air workout..I too love pilates..and I agree..it's much harder than it looks..neat that you got a personal trainer for it and that person's mentor as well..it helps with everything from strength to balance to core to flexibility..get a lot of bang for your buck so to speak with pilates!
