OK Sparkers! So my stove is on the fritz lately and I can't seem to get my burners to work (putting a new one on layaway at SEARS!). So how do I cook?

I remember I had a Foreman Grill that I tucked away some time ago and a fajita maker. We pulled them out and have been having the most amazing meals since. Chicken, Pork, Beef, Fish, vegatables, whatever your pleasure! It comes out perfect anytime.

The other night I made a bowl of minute rice in the microwave, no salt or butter, then grilled up some chicken. I didn't use any oil or sprays. What I did was I took some mango peach salsa and put a tablespoon on top and grilled it just like that. It was medium salsa, so it had just a hint of spice. I chopped up the chicken with the salsa and put it over the rice. die for! So juicy! The best chicken ever! Cheap! Lo-Cal! And Tasty!

We made burgers on there too! So juicy and tasty! The fat just drips right out! I can't wait to pick up some ground turkey for turkey burgers. We chop onion and add it in for some extra flavor. Then top with low-fat or fat-free cheese. With or without the bun.

Are you a GEORGE FOREMAN GRILL user? Or do you like to grill? Please add your favorite recipes below. I would love to try them!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying motivated. It is things like these yummy recipes that keep me going! Something new to try and discover! We can help each other by sharing. I look forward to trying your suggestions.

We more often grill in the oven so we can do larger batches! We did like the grill, but didn't do enough at a time as we cook ahead!

Gosh, I guess I have left mine in the cabinet too long. I need to get creative and try more than just steaks and hamburgers on it! Thanks everybody, for sharing your ideas. I will try more of a variety of things on it. I know that it is an awesome and healthy way to cook.

We use ours all the time. We grill chicken breast, shrimp, steak, and pork on it. Nothing fancy, but the meat does come out so tender and juicy!

I use the food network brand grill, and I love it! We make turkey burgers, kabobs and grilled chicken. Normally, I put low sodium terriaki and pineapple on mine. emoticon

I enjoy my foreman grill but unfortunately don't use it often. I hate the clean up. I have made Maui-Maui fish with a citrus salsa that is awesome on the foreman grill. I am sure if you google George Foreman grill recipes that will inspire you!

I use mine off and on. I like it because it is so fast. The downside is that you can't throw it in the dishwasher when you're done.

Way to go! They say that Necessity is the Mother of Invention and you are a prime example of this.

I don't have a George Foreman but have a small counter top grill similar that I grill Talipia on and also Firecracker Salmon. I think you would like it. I only make 4 fillets at a time so cut the recipe in half. Some times, I have left overs so crumble it on a salad the next day. This recipe is also for outdoor grilling but just "adapt and overcome" as my soldier would say.

Hope you like it. It is one of our favorites.

    cracker Salmon

    8 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
    1/2 cup peanut oil
    4 tablespoons soy sauce
    4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    4 tablespoons green onions, chopped
    3 teaspoons brown sugar
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
    1/2 teaspoon salt

1.Place salmon filets in a medium, nonporous glass dish. In a separate medium bowl, combine the peanut oil, soy sauce, vinegar, green onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil and salt. Whisk together well, and pour over the fish. Cover and marinate the fish in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.

2.Prepare an outdoor grill with coals about 5 inches from the grate, and lightly oil the grate.

3.Grill the fillets 5 inches from coals for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at the thickest part, or until fish just flakes with a fork. Turn over halfway through cooking.

I have been using my son's grill since he moved back in with us. When he moves out I will have to go buy one of my own! I don't don much on it, burgers mainly. I will have to try the sandwiches.

I love my George Foreman grill!! I don't have any recipes, though - just throw some meat on there and enjoy. Oh, but I have found that you can make fantastic paninis on it without adding any butter or oil to the bread! Just make your sandwich as usual, then toss it on there to warm. Super quick since it heats top and bottom at the same time!

Tracey, for foods like fish I use Pam Grilling spray - it doesn't have the same chemical as the other Pam sprays, so there's no build-up on the plates.

I haven't been inventive with mine, just quick and easy way to grill meat and serve with a side

Do/Dont. I love using my GF grill but however, it tends to stick if I could get around that problem then I would be very happy. One of my favorites to cook on their is fish, a crispy alternative to frying. Too cold outside for the "grill" (charcoal bag is empty) but the GF is usually a great assest.
Thanks for the blog have a great day
