very excited

because today I got on the scale and it said 202. That I'm excited by that when I had at one point gotten myself to 170 is a tad sad however this has been a long journey and I guess you just keep moving forward. The cool thing is that I know for sure that I was over 210 last week. The pants I wore last week did not fit and I remember that feeling from the last time I had gotten to 210. How I've managed to lose 8 lbs in a week I have no idea. I've cut back a tad but nothing to get excited about. I have been drinking hot and iced tea sweetened with stevia instead of my usual drinks of diet soda and diet drinks. I've also been trying to curb my spending by packing my food for the day, a habit I had abandoned for a while. I have also moved to a place where I have to walk up and down 3 flights of steps to get to and from my apartment. Either way I'm thrilled and it's also caused me to be a little more motivated. Apparently if I lose 2 lbs a week I'll be to my goal weight by the time my birthday rolls around in Sept. And that's my ultimate goal weight! That really isn't that long.

    Thanks Deni! I hope you are right- I guess I'm still a little skeptical, maybe I'm still in shock. A week ago I had an embarrasing muffin top over my jeans and today it's not there!
