At the end of my first week - of eating around 1350 calories a day and working out again - I lost 6 pounds, which was glorious. So, I entered week two tonight with optimism, and had a good workout at the gym. I'm also carefully tracking calories, which is the best way I've ever found to keep from eating too much.
Since I maintain another blog, I probably won't blog here every day - but I'll be around. Weigh-ins are on Sundays. Best of luck to everyone!
