That stuff is goooooood. However, I live alone, and this made approximately 29083089409283904893849343 gallons of soup.

Or, like 12 glassware bowls full. Close enough.

So half of it's in the freezer and the other half will fill me up all week long ... or until I'm totally sick of it, whichever comes first.

In other news, managed to gain a pound last week. HOW THE HOLY HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? Apparently eating right and exercising five days a week is not enough. This is why I'm glad I have the personal trainer now ... I expressed my frustration (to put it mildly) and he gave me a pep talk. It was really more of a 'suck it up, woman' talk, but it was exactly what I needed. Sometimes sh!t just doesn't cooperate and it's only through sustained effort that I'll finally see results.

Next week that damn scale better go in the right direction or something very bad is going to happen.

    I thought about taking a picture of it, but to be honest it doesn't LOOK very appetizing. OK, it kind of looks like vomit. Especially when it's cold. A picture would not help sell it. :)

    Mmmmm...veggie soup. Perfect weather for it. I still have soup on my freezer when I followed a recipe that made a gazillion servings. Ok, maybe 12 but i'm single too and it got old really quick.
    Sucks about the 1 lbs gain but our bodies do what they want sometimes. We can do everything right and they give us the big FU when we have a gain. I like your personal trainers approach. Suck it up and put on your big girl panties.
    Keeping my fingers crossed for next week for you. Also, we need pictures when you make new recipes! I love food pics, lol.
