Team participation is needed!

emoticonI really do not like to blog therefore I never have in the almost 5 years I have been on the Spark.I read others a lot and see what they have to say and since others seem to read them too I thought I would post my message here instead of sending emails to my Teams.I tryed that with very little success!Last year was a very nasty year for me in every way family, financial, and spritual!I know many of you feel the same way, I listen and hear things.I hope this year will be a great year for all of us and the more interaction there is with all of you on the Teams the better !Its all well and good to be upbeat (All the time) but if you are you are NOT living in the same world most of us are.We need to be there for the Sad and lonely as well as for the prosperous and upbeat!I hope you will join us and help all to get back the Spark they may have lost!Together we can do this! emoticon

I can tell you are doing a good job even though I am new. I love Birds and Blooms and I love gardening and birding. 3 of my favorite things (including spark) all rolled into one. How could this group not be a success!?!?!?! Thanks for your insight and for putting in the time and effort it takes to lead a group. I am co-leader of another group so I know how much time and effort can be involved. kim

I hope you stay as leader! We need you! We all need to pay attention to the message boards and post every day if we can. With spring coming, there will be a lot to talk about. Keep up the good work!

I understand how you feel. I think sometimes people lose track of time, or at least I do. I hope people start chatting more in the group. I do read the messages, but sometimes do not reply. I will try and get better at this. I didn't think of this until now, but there have some conversations I haven't joined in because I felt you guys knew more then I did about gardening etc. I didn't think I had a good comment to offer. But even if I just pop in with a hello, well, it might brighten up someones day. Your a good leader, and a wonderful person. I sure hope you stay!! emoticon

I just cam across this blog and hope you won't close this team.I have been looking for a team with this Country theme.I am having a hard time meeting folks that have the same interests,as far as the country life and having numerous animals and relating to the love for nature and animals and raising chickens and gardening to provide veggies and fruits.I didn't read your page yet.I Co-Lead one team and am a Leader of another and both teams are having this issue with very low,low participation,I wonder why? I wish I had seen your team before now,I am interested in joining and I will invite my friends.I am sorry you are having this happen. The team I Co Lead is 358 members and only a very small percentage participates.Whatever you decide,I wish you the best in your journey's.A fellow Spark member who does care. emoticon Diana

Sorry to be a bit late with this Ginger, I've not been feeling too good but I agree completely with Onespot, you're doing a great job and I love to log in every day and see what everyones been up to.

I know how you feel though, I'm a team leader too and sometimes find I'm talking to myself in the 'Chat Room' for the team, at least you have a regular crew who join in with the 'Good Morning' and 'Bird Diary' topics.

My team's called 'Weekly Weigh-in',they all start with good intentions but then most can't even be bothered to do that...weigh-in I mean!

Please don't give up, we need you!
You're doing a great job and I'd really miss your support if you went emoticon

I think you are an amazing team leader and I love all the great pictures you post. I would love to retire to a place like the one I see on your page but I would not like to have to drive to work in the snow. I would just like to look at it from inside a warm house.

I also have felt very supported from all your visits to my home page and your generous compliments to me have been just wonderful. I really do not have another that is as supportive as you and I would really really miss you if you stepped away as our leader.
