My Weight ups and downs since joining spark on Feb 11th 2008

Saturday, January 08, 2011

On Feb 11th 2011 it will be my 3 year Spark Anniversary!!!! emoticon emoticon

Has this been an easy journey! No! But I have continued to keep pushing forward and I will get to my goal weight! I hope to make it to Onderland this year! That would be awesome!

Here is how my weight has fluctuated during my time here!

2/11/08: 240 (This is what I weighed the day I started!)
3/11/08: 226
5/11/08: 218
8/11/08: 213
12/11/08: 216
1/11/09: 213
2/11/09: 214
5/11/09: 218.4
6/11/09: 214
7/11/09: 212
8/11/09: 207.8 (This was my lowest weight since then!)
11/11/09: 218
1/11/10: 229
2/11/10: 230
3/11/10: 230.6 (Then jumped right back up! WOW what a jump!)
4/11/10: 228
5/11/10: 223
6/11/10: 223
7/11/10: 218
8/11/10: 215
9/11/10: 214
10/11/10: 215
11/11/10: 217
12/11/10: 217.6 (This was my last weigh in for 2010)

My current weight today 1/8/11 is 215.8! So as of today i have lost 24.2 lbs with spark people! The most important thing that I have done is not let the set backs get too me. I have continued to move forward through gains and many plateaus! This is a journey of persistance! A journey of patience! And a journey of a new way of life! One of the best parts of this journey is that I have not been on it alone! I have had the help and support of many great spark friends that I have made here! My spark friends! My spark family! I thank everyone for giving me the motivation and support to keep going!

If your journey has ups and downs like mine has! Dont lose hope! Together we can do this and we will get where we are going as long as we keep going and taking this journey one day at a time!

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

"You've come a log way baby" so they say. Way to go on this journey. There may be ups, but there will always be more downs (weight that is) as long as we keep going forward. have a great day and remember WE are in this together.

We are on the same journey. I had my two year anniversary dec. 31st, like you I have gone down, up, and plateaued so many times. we can succeed. we are succeeding. we take this one day at a time and we haven't given in or up. that says a lot about us. See ya that the finish line.

You are such an inspiration! You are doing such a great job! We all have setbacks - my biggest setback is that when I see that number on the scale go back up then I get discouraged and want to give up. Not this time - I hope! I, too, have found a great bunch of encouraging people - you are one of them. And I wish you all the best on your journey to your goal weight. Keep up the good work! emoticon

Great blog! Thanks for sharing your ups and downs. I'm struggling because I gained 9 pounds the 10 days right around Christmas which means I'm only down 5 pounds. Seeing that you've also have gains but haven't given up, is very encouraging. Hopefully, both of our next weigh ins will be good ones.
