Well, I was very excited because today is my weigh in day and all week I feel like I have been on track and making an extra effort to get my exercise in. I actually gained weight when I stepped on the scale. Usually this would push me to food but I am determined to make this lifestyle work for me. I mean its got to be better than eating junk all the time. I am considering joining the gym again but I am worried because sometimes its hard for me to get time out of the house and alas the gym is quite expensive. Also I am on several medications that can cause weight gain. So I guess for now I have to be happy that I'm making changes for a better life.

    Your going to make your goals come true - each change doesn't always relfect on the scale - You and I both have to stop measuring our success on the scale. Yes we can weigh ourselves but the number isn't as important as the knowlege that we have eaten healthier. Hugssssssssss Melissa - keep up the good work - you are inspiring me...

    I have trouble with water weight and meds also. Keep up what you're doing. You'll see results!

    I would not judge on scale alone. Water and muscle (which are both good things) can increase our weight on a scale. Either way though, I still think it's great you aren't giving up and that you did such a great job this week.
