Picture Says Most of it!!

Thursday, January 06, 2011

I blew it starting about 1415 today. I mean, I just absolutely blew it!! I don't know what was going on in my head except I felt like a limp dish rag and thought if I had some raisins and peanuts (on top of the raisins and peanuts I had earlier today) I would pep up a bit. I know I was also frustrated b/c I didn't have the opportunity to walk except for 15 minutes too. Then, I went to a reception and had about 1/4 piece of cake with some fruit and a carrot stick. I did not have any dip and only 2 sips of punch.

After work, while driving home, I was still so tired, no energy and just felt like I was going to pass out. I started thinking, no tea, coffee, chocolate....... maybe my body is used (Ya think?) to this caffeine to keep it going Sooooo, I stoped at the store and had a candy bar and an ice cream. I knew I had blown it really bad!!

I came on home and actually was feeling a little better, so I was able to finish and actually exceed my cardio minutes and I did my bootcamp Day 6 video twice. That doesn't make up for the 1000 extra calories today, but it encourages me not to stop or quit, but to keep going and accept imperfection and set backs!

Grace will see me through this journey!! I'm looking forward to it!!!! emoticon

    Hi Sally

You should be proud that you kept with your exercise routine. That's half the battle. You didn't blow the whole program -- only the food component. And tomorrow's another day. Every day brings the opportunity to start the right day -- the kind of day that's going to bring you to better health. You're doing this for you!

This isn't a smooth and easy path we're on, but it's the right one, and the one you deserve. Take good care of yourself, and keep on trucking! Deirdre
