80% nutrition and 20% exercise..oh I am in trouble

I read if you want to lose weight you get it by 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. : (

I love to exercise(or I should say I love how it makes me feel) but the other end FOOD..not so good. I do have to admit my eating has improved greatly when I started this journey almost 3 years ago but it needs alot of work yet.

I think if those numbers would change places I would be alot further in my weight loss. Oh why does it have to be more on the nutrition end?????? I really struggle with the food...Portions..knowing what is good or bad for you(something it seems good for you but its not) what to look for in the ingredients...what %'s you should look at (dont go over that number or stay below this number) Its mind boggling!!!!!!

I just had to vent! I need to win some money and have my own personal chef or send my meals through the mail (ediet).

    LOL............ok this is where we are TOTALLY OPPOSITE!!! I hate to sweat, hate to breathe hard, hate to hurt, BUT LOVE how it makes me feel! Finding the motivation to get started is my hardest obstacle! Once I get started, I am good to go!
    The eating on the other hand- I've got that one whooped!!! For me....I am an emotional eater and I just had to figure out WHY I was eating and eating and eating -lol. Once I figured it out..........there's no stopping me now!! I LOVE food!!!! But now that I have cut all of the crap out of my diet, I find those crunch times when there is no other choice but then to grab something at the drive thru, It tastes like SH*T, makes me feel like that too, and I have no problems eating the good stuff! Now portion control I still have a few problems with, but that is getting better all the time!
    Hey girl, you know what they say!! Practice makes perfect and once you get into the routine of it, it will become a fabulous habit and just something natural!! My workout routine is getting easier and less of a burden because I am still PRACTICING!! LOL

    It can be discouraging, can't it?? My work colleagues bought me lunch yesterday - they were boxed lunches from Erberts and Gerberts. My choices were turkey or veggie, so I chose the veggie, thinking it would be a lower calorie sub... was I wrong! I went online and looked it up... that sub was a whopping 609 calories and something like 25 grams of fat! For a vegetarian sub??? It was so NOT worth it! Sigh. So yeah. Sometimes you think you're doing the right thing ... and then.... not so much. I should have just eaten the lunch I brought and saved myself the hassle. (And then maybe the scale would have budged this morning??)

    Oh well. At least we aren't muddling through it alone!!
