Back for a week so far so good

So i haven't changed my spark page yet but I am ashamed to say that I gained back that 60 pounds and a few more. Busy couple years but really no excuse. Anyway no sense dwelling on that.

I have decided to come back to sparkpeople because it is what worked. Toyed with the idea of creating a whole new page but decided not too.

Just doing things a bit different this time. Last time I didn't blog or anything and I weighed myself almost everyday. Since I really want to do this to feel better about myself I figured I will do these two things differently. I will try to blog at least once a week and weigh in only on the first of the month. I know it seems like it is not very often but those half pounds up and down or one or two pound temporary gains really discourage me so I decided that I'll trust myself to know when I am doing well and feeling good. Then once a month I can see a decent number (hopefully). I am aiming for a pound a week so 4 or 5 pounds will make me happy and hopefully keep me motivated.

I am also trying to mix up my exercise a bit. I really only like to bicycle but I am set on trying to walk a bit and maybe do some kind of strength training. Right now I started walking and I will deal with strength training next month.

My exercise this week:

Walking: 3 miles
Trainer: 6 miles

Nutrition: Met calorie goal 7 days
