Relaxing and Enjoying this Winter Evening

This winter out here in the southwest has been way colder than any that I can remember. But I am sitting here by my wood stove, warm and cozy and relaxing with a cup of herb tea (and my corgi at my feet). I am trying to learn to relax and take more personal time to do the things I like; that is one of the things I have decided to try to do this year--to learn to relax more and enjoy my life. I always tell myself that I will relax later, or I will do the fun thing later. However, I am not getting any younger, and I need to start enjoying my life more right now, before I really start to miss out.

The goals that I am happy that I have met today:

met my calorie goal today
ate healthy foods today
got in 10 fruits and veggies
ate 6 small meals
drank 9 cups of water
worked at staying positive
had some relax time ;)
journaled my food
blogged about it

Blogging about the goals I have met each day is really helping me to stay on track so far.... I am really happy about that! Now I am off to do some drawing....
