Despite a really draining day at work, and freezing cold Chicago winter outside, I still worked out this evening. I'm fortunate to have a gym in my apartment building (even if the machines are old and semi-janky) so I headed down there and got in a nice 30 minute workout.

Tomorrow, I'm going for a birthday dinner for a friend - which'll be held at Texas de Brazil. If you're not familiar, Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse, which means tempation (and cheese and carbs and meat) will be all over the place. However, I've set some ground rules - no bread. No cheese. and only a little bit of meat (for protein - and hopefully chicken) and I'm going to have lots of salad and iced tea.

Fingers crossed. Here goes!
