My SparkPage Photos

Tuesday, January 04, 2011

Every time I log into my Spark Page, the first thing I see is a photo that was taken AFTER I had already lost 40 pounds. My thought is UGGH!! I better NEVER go back there!!!

Everyday, I struggle to eat in a healthy manner. My addictions did not go away. I still want candy, cakes and ice cream. I WANT JUNK FOOD.

I hate exercising, I got new sneakers and have been trying to jump up and walk a few times a day, but I know it is not enough. I need to tone and build up my strength and heart. 2 of my brothers had heart attacks this year, one was fatal. He was only 55.

Knowing what I know about health, heridity, fitness and nutrition; why do I struggle.

I need to print out the UGGH photo and put it on the scale, on the treadmill, on the refrigerators.... So that it is always a reminder of what I don't want to have happen again.

Aw Kat. In my meeting last week we talked about how it is not the negative we should be focusing on, but the positive. She specifically discussed how it is not the "fat" pic we should put on the fridge, but the THIN picture, even if we have to create a thin picture by pasting our face onto a bikini model. POSITIVE works in our brains differently than negative, and the part of our brain that processes POSITIVE gives better POSITIVE results.

Soon I will be posting pics of what started me on WW as well as my sick pictures, and where I will end up. Hugs.
