First Day at my new gym!

I got a 6 month membership to the Y for Christmas this year and I finally went in and signed up today! No more doing workouts in my tiny apartment, hitting my arms and legs on the furniture and the ceiling fans! So excited!

I was a bit nervous at first, cause this is one of the biggest YWCA's in the Midwest, but I got a tour and the person who signed me up was so welcoming. I can't wait to take some classes, especially yoga, but the beginning yoga class is at 7AM, and I close at work, so we'll see. I love the elliptical, going on the track, pretty much everything in the cardio room. I want to start lifting weights and stuff, but there's always dudes there which makes it pretty intimidating and uncomfortable for me. I hate it when guys wanna help me, check me out, or when they make gross grunting noises. UGH.

Someday when I lose enough weight, maybe I'll have enough of confidence to go swimming! I can't wait to bust out my swimming suit someday, it's a cute two piece halter top, but I'm about 15lbs too heavy for it, it rolls up around the waist and my breasts are spilling out all over the place (not classy!).

I am about to go on a date with my love to this Ethiopian restaurant, which is pretty healthy, lots of chickpeas and lentils, veggies and curry. No cheese, breadbaskets, fried anything. Then we're on our way to a teahouse, where I can get my fix of herbal tea. Herbal tea has been a savior for quelling my sweet tooth urges. Feeling motivated and energized, yay!
