NEED to stay motivated.

So, I worked out Monday. I ran 7 miles on the treadmill as part of my 1/2 marathon training. Unfortunately, I didn't protect myself enough and the inner thighs took a beating. The chafing was so painful. When I got off the treadmill, I could see where the skin was irritated and slightly swollen. At any rate, I took yesterday off, which is OK since it wasn't a running day anyway. I was supposed to lift weights only, but I did that Sunday after my 7 miler so I had a free pass for the day.

I went to bed last night around 11 or 11:30 by the time I fell asleep. My boyfriend gets up at 5 a.m. for work. I woke up around 5:30 and haven't been able to go back to sleep. I'm exhausted but there' s so much work that I need to do, PLUS workout. It's almost 9 already and I feel like I've already wasted the day away. :o(

    Ouch! I hope your legs are better soon and you get some rest!! Do you use body glide? I usually default to wearing spandex under my shorts/skort to keep the chafing at bay. I have used body glide but on longer runs I worry that it wouldn't last....
