Another Day, another gain

Monday, January 03, 2011

Not a big deal, half a pound. And I know I am retaining water. I broke down and ordered more of my hydrachlorathaizide. Which is a water pill I need to take because I have kidney issues. And haven't been taking because I ran out and couldn't afford to get more of.

Between Christmas, Alex, David and AA&Ts bills and the broken washer - December about killed me. And I gained 6 pounds!! emoticon

But it is a new year. AA&T are going to be working hard towards moving out (YAY!) and back to Arizona (BOO!) by July. Alex will be taking her internship this next quarter, and then she should get her pharmtech certification and a job by the end of March. She wants to move out too, but I think she should stay and save money. She is still going to college and once the others move out, she can have the bigger room. David keeps threatening to move out, but he has it too easy. He pays absolutely nothing towards any household bills, not even his specific bills like car insurance and cell phone. So, I need to sit down with him and force him to keep his promises to me or when AA&T leave, he will be leaving as well. Boy would my life be different with an empty household.

No matter who stays and who leaves, I am looking forward to repairing my house from all the damage generated by a toddler and many dogs. Carpets will be replaces with hard woods. Walls will be patched and painted. Doors will be replaced. Trim and moldings will be put up and the basement will be finished. I will get a sewing room back and perhaps even a dedicated fitness room or a guest room.

Even though I don't want to lose contace with my family members, I am so excited about getting my house back to being my home and something I am not ashamed of.
