2011 - A fresh start

Hey all. It's been a REALLY long time since I sat down and blogged, so here goes lol.

2010 was a great year. I met a lot of new friends and made some progress in the weight department. I've been slacking REALLY bad these last couple of months and I have no one to blame but myself. On October 14th, I weighed in at 171.4. That was the last time I weighed in until today. Well, close your's weigh in was 185 :( Funny thing is, I'm not upset. I knew this was going to happen with my lack of discipline and I even told my fellow Spark Pal/Titans fan Bonny that I fell off the wagon back in October!!! LOL!! IT'S OK! At 185, I still lost 22 pounds in 2010 and if I can lose another 22 pounds in 2011.....FANTASTIC!!

Today marks the start of year 2 for me. I've got a new exercise plan I'm going to STICK to and a new eating plan (not diet plan, lol) that I'm pretty confident that I can maintain. My first 10 weeks involve a training program called "First Day to 5K". After that, another 10 week program called "Gateway to 8K" and then yet another to get me to 10K. I'm so excited about starting fresh and I can't wait to share my progress with all of you!! I've missed you ALL!!

So, it's 7am......and it begins :)

    I hear you and am right there with you!!! I could have written this blog myself, likewise I knew I fell off and wasn't terribly surprised by my scale.


    today IS a fresh new start, it's a fresh new year, a fresh new chance!!!

    Back to getting into the 'routine', these first days are always the hardest, but we can push thru it and get where we want to be!
