New Year New Outlook on Life

I am actually very excited about the New Year and what it has to offer. No more excuses. There is no reason why I can't do this. I am going to write down my goals for this year an stick to them. I want to get definition in my abs. I want to walk a mile for every day of the year, so at least 365 miles walked for 2011. I want to drink more water. I want to eat healthy on a regular basis. My final goal which I hope will be more of a result of sticking to all my other goals is to lose 5-10 pounds. I have started off on completing my goals by portion controlling my meals and putting down my fork between bites. I have also realized that I can still have the things that a like and I only need to taste them and not overindulge. I also walked a little over a mile on the treadmill this morning when I first got up. I am trying to drink water before I get thirsty and not after. So far day one is looking good.
