New Year and New Beginnings

Friday, December 31, 2010

As 2010 comes to an end, I look back with a mixture of emotions and recognize that I have continued to move forward when there were obstacles in the way! This past year I saw myself recommit to becoming a healthier and fit person ater having struggled for years to lose weight!

Spark People has been a blessing for me with the tremendous support, motivation and encouragement that I have found through the SparkTeams and Message Boards! There are times due to unforeseen problems, I may not be able to log in; but without fail I am committed to seeing this journey through until I am successful! Even after I become successful in reaching my goal weight, I will continue to SPARK and encourage others to do so!!

As 2011 draws near, I am seeing this New Year as one of New Beginnings with a renewed commitment and focus to living healthier by eating healthier foods, controlling portion sizes, drinking adequate amounts of water and staying motivated to exercise!

The year 2011 brings about a renewed spirit of determination, perserverance and motivation where I vow to continue on this journey of a new life and new beginnings!

Happy New Year to All!

happy new year to you too. I enjoyed reading your blog on your perspective on looking at the new year as a time to reflect on your successes rather then looking at it as a time to once again set that famous new years resolution to starting over only to have a setback because thats what society wanted you to do
