A new year-2011

So 2010 was not a total loss, I ended the year with a 14.25 pound loss. Most of that from August-December when I got really serious. I want to triple that in 2011 for a total of 42 pounds. That is 1 pound a week, that is totally do-able if I focus.

I also want to spend more time with my friends & family, spend more time crafting and getting back to cooking! I miss these things so much!

I plan to put together an emergency fund for a rainy day and for some fun!!

So here is how I plan to do that.

1) Eating Better
A) Putting to good use the 6 gazillion cookbooks I have
B) making a meal plan and stick to it!
C) Weigh Measure Record everything
D) Add more Fruits and Vegetables to my diet
2)Exercise more consistently
A) Make ME a priority
B) Go to gym 4x weekly minimum
C) When weather permits go outside and walk while at work
D) Start training for 1/2 marathon!
3) Get back to cooking
A) utilize previously mentioned cookbooks
B) Try a new recipe every week (one meal/one dessert)
C)Get back to once a week cooking
4) Save Money
A) Put away money for an emergency fund
B) Put away money for BDay
5) Get back to crafting!
A) set aside Sunday afternoons for crafting 3x a month
6) I miss my friends!!
A) Make plans with my friends to get together!
B) Street fairs, the beach, Friday night music All free things!
and free is my friend!
C) Plan a bowling night with whomever can come once a month
D) Plan dinner out with friends one night a month with whomever can come
A) spend 15 min each night taking care of one thing.
B) get rid of anything I don't need or haven't used.
C) put everything in its place and make sure it stays or returns there!
8) Make time for me!
A) Stick to the plan and I'll have time for me!!!!!
9) Appreciate my job and the wonderful people I work with!
10) Be open to new relationships
A) go places where I can meet new people
11) and most importantly: spend time with Family!!
A) Organize a family outing once every couple months.

If I do all these things I should have an amazing and awesome year!

    Thanks everyone! It is a big list but really a few things are Monthly and most of them are things I SHOULD be doing like recording everything I eat! I miss time for me, I miss my friends and I miss doing things so I really think this will help me!

    I think if I stick to the plan it will help me for sure!! It's a lot but I like organized better then crazy!! thank you and happy new year to you too!!

    Sounds like you have a plan. It would be overwhelming for me, but you can handle it I'm sure. Happy New Year emoticon
