I am so glad that your dad is doing well and that he is back at the gym. That is so great. I was thinking about him the other day when Terry - my coworker- got his permanet leg. Terry reaches his one year this month - again insurance slowed a lot of his recovery down.
This was incredibly deep vlog, with a great message! Glad your Dad is up and finding his niche with all those changes.. Its sad but it does sometimes take changes like those to make you really appreciate what you have.
First of all, that sweater you have on is sooooo cute! I keep thinkin' "I wish she'd stand up so I could see the rest of it " hahaha! That is awesome that your Dad is going to the gym! cool!!! I would have gotten choked up too if my Dad had been through all that and came that far..... I lost my Mom when I was about your age---it was a long, long time ago, but I want you to make sure to enjoy EVERY minute you have with him.......and you are right, we have soooooo much to be thankful for! I have the most amazing Dad and we have become very close since then. Carpe diem! :) (I bet you like that movie Dead Poets Society too huh?)
I loved this blog. Totally can relate to what you have said. Your dad sounds amazing. I love hearing stories like that. No wonder he's got such an amazing daughter. And yeah, being aware of your priorities is a wonderful gift. Made me tear up... pat 3243 days ago
