Finally, my first blog.

With just a few days of 2010 left to go I have reflected back on the beginning of my Sparkpeople journey. I started sparking the first week of August 2010 and to date I have lost 30 pounds.

30 lbs in 21 weeks emoticon I can't believe it!

What is even more amazing than the weight loss is:

That this time the journey has been much easier. Yes, I have had my share of weak moments and a binge or two or three, but I always manage to somehow get back on plan.

I have exercised (walked) more than I can ever remember exercising and I actually miss the days I don't get a chance to get outside.
(I do have a treadmill but I find it to be absolutely BORING!)

I look up all foods especially before ordering in a restaurant.

I look forward to logging both my food and exercise.

For Christmas, I asked for fitness gifts and was really excited when I received them!
(I have used most of them already!)

Sparkpeople has kept me informed and entertained, sometimes spending way to many hours online, but never with any regret. Weight loss is not only a physical journey but a mental one as well and my Spark Teams and Spark Friends and the many Spark blogs of people I have never met, have been there to keep me mentally positive.
To all of you, Thank you!

I still have weight to lose as we enter into the new year, but with Sparkpeople I know my journey will be much easier.
