Glad Christmas is OVER!

Sunday, December 26, 2010

Over the last 3 weeks, I have been very dedicated in my physical training for the 1/2 marathon ( March 6) and have been "better" with my diet. I have been religiously following my training schedule and not stuffing myself with whatever I want. However, over the last few DAYS I just let loose and decided to enjoy Christmas. I made the decision that immediately following Christmas (starting at midnight), I was really going to start eating clean. Well, as a result I certainly went into those days full force eating all the sh*t I felt like eating. I made homemade Christmas cookies (I love raw cookie dough) and ate lots of cookies and other Christmas junk food. I feel like I gained 5 pounds over the last few days.

I'm GLAD Christmas is OVER!

I love Christmas but hate the food factor. We have some stuff left here but am glad the treats are mostly gone! Time to get back to taking care of ourselves. When is your half ? (I think you told me - too lazy to look at post right now ;)) My next one will be March 26 in DC. Which reminds me, I have to register this week!!
