balancing motherhood and desire to get fit

what a bummer ... had to skip my 5 am morning workout because was up for much of the night with sophia, my 2 year old, who has a stomach bug.
however, the good news is that I'm disappointed and upset that I missed the workout --- and after only 1 week on SP ... i'm beginning to recognize the differences in how I feel after I workout in the a.m. and how that energy stays with me. It's nice to not rely on caffeine anymore for that rush.
so I'll just go to gym tonight after she goes to bed, but I'm just going to do an extended cardio session, instead of cardio and weights ... since am working out tomorrow, want to make sure muscles not too tired ...
