I did have one day last week where I weighed in under 180 but today for my official weigh in I was 182.2. We went away for the weekend and then went out for dinner on Monday but I tracked everything and according to my spreadsheet calculations I should have lost 5 pounds right now (instead of 3) but maybe with my weekend of eating out I miscalculated or ate way too much salt or something. I'm a little bummed because of weighing over 2 pounds less last week but that might just be natural fluctuation, too.
I finally got in to see a specialist yesterday about my ankle, almost 4 months after my initial injury. I found out that in addition to spraining my ankle I also tore my tendon which accounts for all the pain and swelling I am still having. I need to wear a "walking boot" for the next month and it's kind of a misnomer because I am not really supposed to walk with it! I tried to ride the exercise bike tonight while wearing the boot but only lasted 15 minutes as it was very uncomfortable. I guess I will be taking a little break from most of my exercising for a time. I will do what I can but I need to let my tendon heal. It's been aggravated by my workouts even though I have been doing activities that were not as stressful on my ankle.
On the bright side I will have more time for some of the things I have been missing for the past couple of months like time on the computer and time to get organized in my house.
I started going to an acupuncturist last week and she thinks she can help raise my metabolism so I can eat a little more, but for now, with doing less exercise and waiting for my ankle to heal I will have to stick to 1200.
