1660 cals so I won't be eating anything else today!! Still within my range, which I am not going to go over again til I reach goal. Simple as that :P

I've had a small headache all day ... I keep waiting for the flu to arrive but I don't think it will, but I am definitely fighting something off. I think I need a soup day tomorrow - sore throat, achy generally. I managed to run five miles but it was my slowest ever! OK, the snow didn't help.

Might be the fact that I've given up coffee, giving me a headache, too. Hmmm.

What I have eaten today...

Porridge and banana for breakfast, stewed apples for lunch, butterbean salad for dinner, then a couple of fruit teacakes.

Not too awful.

Day 7 of Level 2 of the shred done. OMGSS I could feel the shred muscles on my run today. OUCH!

Giving up the coffee completely would most probably cause a headache.

I was drinking several cups a day a few years ago, and I went on a detox diet in the New Year. OMG!!! The headache was absolutely UNBEARABLE!!

This time I cut back gradually, I still have a cup of tea in the morning with breakfast, and 2 cups of coffee during the day, but not after 3pm as I'm finding that I sleep much better that way. This has meant that I have been pretty much free from headaches.

I've been taking loads of vitamins and Echinacea in an attempt to stop getting whatever it is that's going round. It's really laying people low, both my daughter and her boyfriend have had it, and now my grand daughter has it. It's really not nice!

You're doing really well. Hats off to you for the 5 mile run and the shred!!

Giving up coffee was hard for me too. I still drink decaf occasionally. I never really drank coffee for the effect but rather the taste. :( I love smelling in the grocery store...
