Changing What I Can

Monday, December 20, 2010

Ok, so winter is not helping me to maintain my current weight zone. As of today I have offically broken out of my top number on the scale. I cannot change the weather. With the lack of exercise, particularly outdoor running, my weight has contunially crept upwards.
I need a plan of attack to keep this trend from getting away from me completely. I am starting with replacing the ourdoor running.
1. I have a treadmill and have even added the use of music to help me get and stay on it. It's just not the same as being outside (I need to get over that thought).
2. I own dozens of exercise videos and dvds. My excuse for not using them is lack od space and time (both lies). I will organize them and schedule one per day, minimum.
3. I am pretty sure Santa or someone like him will get me a Wii Fit for Christmas. It is the ONLY think I have asked for this year. That will be a new challenge.

One thing I have added is water, lots more water. I am also going to try a more raw food approach. I have kind of gotten off track with my food. I know what works and I need to revisit some of my choices. Anyway, those are my thoughts this morning. I hope your journey is peaceful today.

I am starting today. Can't allow more "slippage" in my program. I am absolutely planning to get in a 5K next year. Actually, I am going to train toward a 10K if I can find one. I am getting excited about the Wii Fit since all the comments seem so positive about it. emoticon
