AWOL and HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Have not been around for awhile. AFter I was sick I just could not get back into things. I could not motivate myself to workout. Rarely went on SP. Then when I decided that this pity party should end I was called for jury duty and picked as a juror.
That was a new experience for me. It was three days, almost four because we were having trouble coming to a verdict. The DA thought it was a slam dunmk. We did to at first. It was a first degree assult on a 13 year old. More the trial went on and the evidence and testimonies we could not be convinced. After almost 5 hours we concluded to charge him with a lesser charge. The nex day I worked 11 hours to catch up with what I missed.
That was last week and a new week is starting. I did some Christmas shopping this week-end. Doing some laundry and Christmas cards and helping at a church that serves homeless hot meals by being there to take blood pressures.
I also plan to go work out tomorrow no matter how tired I am and get back to losing that weight.
Justy thought I would pop in and say that I am still out there. Down time at work I used to work on getting my food entered and check on everyone but the CEO sent out an announcement that no on is to use the internet and all employees must sign a a paper that states we will not check our email, download any sites etc. So I will bring a book for any down time. Not that I have had any lately.
So here is to a new start. Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year

I hope you have a great Christmas with your grandchildren! Maybe you'll have more time in January to get your "mojo" back and recommit to your workouts!
