You know the saying, "slow and steady wins the race?" Well, I guess I'm proof of that.
Although my race is not even close to being over, I'm only halfway there. I would like to lose 25 more pounds to bring me down to around 170 pounds.
Once I get back to that weight we'll go from there. I'm 5'7 and have a medium sized frame.
By incorporating more Strength training in the mix, my body will look different at 170 than it did when I got married at 170 more than 10 years ago.
I know my effort has not been what it could be at times, I'll be the first to admit that...Like many of us, I have spurts of massive momentum and drive and passion to workout like a mad woman and then other times, I don't.
Consistency is what is lacking in my personality towards exercise.
Hopefully, by starting Chalean Extreme today it will respark my desire to stay consistent. There are others in my Turbo Kick class who will be starting P90x today as well. So, we are all on some kind of 90 day fitness routine.
I know how I feel while strength training = AWESOME!
I've said it in the past, even if I do end up weighing a little more, having more muscle just makes you feel like a million bucks!
I'm going to try to be more accountable to myself and others doing the 90 day programs with me.
I hope to be blogging weekly in hopes that some of my SP friends out there will inspire me to keep the momentum and consistency going!
